Need to update your core of knowledge? Or are you up-skilling and need to plan cases to a higher level? This course will provide you with the necessary knowledge and practical applications in order to certify you for levels 1 & 2 in CBCT Certification. This course will be taught in person AND online in order to fulfil all the necessary hours and criteria for certifiable qualification. Only with the correct hours of training are you able to be fully certified and this course is designed to do just that.
This 2-day intensive course is BOTH ONLINE and IN-PERSON. This course will not only complete and fulfil the criteria necessary for Levels 1&2 CBCT certification but also enhance your knowledge of how to apply these skills to your clinical practices, become confident within reporting of such types of Radiology, identify both normal and abnormal findings with confidence and back up as well as applying such skills to Oral Surgery, Endodontics, Orthodontics, Prosthodontics and Implant Dentistry.
Led by Dr Simon Harvey, a Consultant and GDC registered specialist in Dental and Maxillofacial Radiology. His NHS practice is split between Eastman Dental Hospital, London and Queen Victoria Hospital, Sussex and is a regional expert in dentist alveolar CBCT and salivary gland interventional radiology. Simon is the Specialty lead for dental imaging at Prime Health/Medical Imaging Partnership, one of the leading radiology companies in the UK.
He has been employed in higher education for 15 years and teaches all levels of health professionals – Doctors, Dentists, Hygiene, Therapists and Nurses from Undergraduates to Specialist level.
He holds a Masters in Medical Law and Ethics and sits on the advisory council of the DDU. He also sits on the Royal College of Radiology iRefer panel.
